Cornerstone Kids

The theme of this year’s Agents of Christ Children’s Ministry is “Operation Hands & Feet”. Throughout 2017, our kids will be assigned missions to undertake in their training.

New Mission: Operation Hands and Feet

We have received word from headquarters that there are children in our area who need our help! These children are going through a difficult time and could use these items to help cheer them up. Our teachers will collect items brought in each Sunday.

During February and March we will be collecting the following items:

  1. Crayons
  2. Colored pencils
  3. Puzzles
  4. Small games (ex. Cards, jacks)
  5. Stuffed animals

These items are greatly needed and will be collected continuously through May:

  1. Wipes
  2. Pull-ups (they currently do not have any)
  3. Diapers (sizes 2-6)

In the coming months, our agents will also help during class time to make something comforting to give these children. This mission is a way for our agents to understand that it does not matter how old you are, anyone can show love and be the hands and feet of Christ.
*All of the items donated will be prayed over by our agents and delivered to our local Social Services Office.

The focus of Cornerstone Kids is showing children how much God loves them in a fun and nurturing atmosphere. The Bible is our ultimate authority and the foundation of all we do. Our children’s program is divided into pre-school (3 yrs. – PreK), K-1, and Grades 2-5. The 2nd-5th grade classes are divided by gender in order to accommodate the different learning styles of boys and girls. This format provides the opportunity for creative activities, while also promoting a comfortable and unique learning environment. In addition to our Sunday programs, the grade school students have the opportunity to further connect with each other and the community through various activities outside of church. Our hope is that kids will have the experience at Cornerstone of feeling loved by their teachers, developing a sense of community with their peers, and learning more about Jesus – all while having a BLAST!
